A day of R and R.

Today was going to be a day of  R and R and definitely no biking. We had a nice breakfast in the posh hotel we were staying in (The Radisson on Redcliffe Way) and then caught the bus to Bath.

Motor biking must be a west country thing, because we saw bikes of all sorts; Sports, Off Road, Harleys, you name it, going in all sorts of directions. We also passed about 3 large motorbike shops as we left Bristol on the A4. I have made a mental note to return later in the year.

In Bath we spent a happy day in the galleries looking at pictures and photos. The Royal Photographic Society were holding an exhibition of the year's best work.

We stopped off for a nice dinner on Argyle Street, and that accounts for two glasses on wine.  Bath won, beating Harlequins 15-10 or thereabouts.

When we returned to Bristol we decided to have a quiet night in with one course in the restaurant and another bottle of wine.

I managed to sea the last ten minutes of  "Le Crunch." Would you believe it.
